S Group awarded 2016 NACS Insight European Technology Implementation Award
17.06.2016 15:56:51
We are proud to announce that our Finnish member S Group was awarded the 2016 NACS Insight European Technology Implementation Award.
The award recognizes S Group for the implementation of a new mobile fueling feature to its award-winning S-Mobile iPhone app, launched by S Group's subsidiaries - S-bank and ABC - a service station and fuel trade company.
The application provides an invisible payment service combining purchasing, payment and refueling. S-mobile recognises the customer's location and fueling begins as the correct fuel pump is selected within the app. The payment is completed through the S Group Visa card, which holds numerous benefits for S Group's member-owners.
Henry Armour, CEO of NACS said: "S-mobile and mobile refueling are great examples of the innovative technology that combines information security and new payment practices".
Mobile refueling has so far received a tremendous reception from customers, who value its user-friendliness.
