CCU Bulgaria Recognised in EEPA 2024 for Promoting Cooperative Model Among Young People

Euro Coop proudly congratulates our member, the Central Cooperative Union (CCU) of Bulgaria, for its outstanding recognition in the 2024 European Enterprise Promotion Awards (EEPA).

Among over 400 entries from 29 countries, CCU Bulgaria’s initiative, Promotion of the Cooperative Model Among Young People as an Opportunity for Development of the Social and Solidarity Economy, has been selected in the prestigious Category 1: ‘Promoting the Entrepreneurial Spirit’.

This initiative is an important step in fostering entrepreneurship among young people by introducing them to the co-operative model. By focusing on the values of the social and solidarity economy, CCU Bulgaria empowers the next generation with the tools they need to address socio-economic challenges, from unemployment to inequality. The cooperative approach not only equips young people with vital business skills but also promotes sustainable, people-centred economic development.
