Euro Coop member FNCC proudly participated in the Global Social Economy Forum (GSEF) 2025, held this year in Bordeaux. At its dedicated stand, FNCC welcomed visitors, partners, and stakeholders to explore the role and value of consumer cooperatives in shaping a fair, inclusive, and sustainable economy.
A highlight of the event was the symbolic arrival of the Cooperative Flame, which was welcomed at FNCC’s stand in the presence of Coop Atlantique and several cooperative and participatory supermarkets actively shaping local, community-focused retail models. These included Supercoop (Bordeaux), La Cagette (Montpellier), Otsokop (Bayonne), and La Caravane (Montreuil). Their presence underscored the dynamic engagement and innovation of consumer cooperatives across French territories.
Cooperatives Europe was represented at GSEF 2025 by Giuseppe Guerini, President, and Agnes Mathis, Director, who contributed to discussions on the social and democratic economy in Europe and the role of cooperatives in building resilient communities.
Euro Coop applauds FNCC and all participating cooperatives for their continued leadership and commitment to cooperation as a driver for positive social change.
